We are sitting around the kitchen table with my wife, my new room mate Kate and daily Raleigh cohort Patrick discussing pretty normal things, you know, like the economy, dogs, how well your cell phone takes photos, what "twitter" really means, things like that, when we realize that only one of us at the table has a job. When we did the math we realized we had 8 college degrees at the table and only one job to speak for it.

Of the degrees, some included accounting, journalism, architecture and a masters in English education.

Clearly I didn't have the masters in English.
